Route for visitors arriving by car:
- If you approach along the motorway/Autobahn A215, take the exit marked Lübeck B76/Norwegenkai/Ostuferhafen. Follow this 4-lane urban highway for about 3 km and then take the exit to the right. Heading towards HDW, after an underpass you will enter Sörensenstrasse. This street runs into Werftstrasse after 0.5 km. After another 1.5 km you will reach HDW.
- Coming from the North on the B76 from Eckernförde, take the 4-lane urban highway in the direction of Lübeck. After about 6 km you will see the first sign for HDW and take the exit on the right about 500 m further on. Heading towards HDW, after an underpass you will enter Sörensenstrasse. This street runs into Werftstrasse after 0.5 km. After another 1.5 km you will reach HDW.
- If you come from the South on the regional highway B4/B404, take the exit on the right marked Plön/Ostuferhafen/Fähren. Stay in the right hand lane. Heading towards HDW, after an underpass you will enter Sörensenstrasse. This street runs into Werftstrasse after 0.5 km. After another 1.5 km you will reach HDW.
- If you come from the East along the B76 from Preetz/Plön, take the exit marked Ostuferhafen/Fähren. Take the right hand lane that exits into Sörensenstrasse. This street runs into Werftstrasse after 0.5 km. After another 1.5 km you will reach HDW.
