Do you want to emphasize the practical side more in your main course of study and get to know our shipyard more closely?

Our specialist practical training gives you the chance to apply the knowledge gained in your studies. In various shipbuilding fields at HDW (e.g. design, manufacturing....) you can be part of the decisions and activities of an internationally operating yard.

But you also need to satisfy the following requirements:

• Reading either shipbuilding, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or industrial engineering
• Intermediate diploma
• Good English and computer knowledge
• Good German knowledge
• Ability to work on one’s own and with real commitment
• Ability to work in a team
• At least 12 weeks for the internship
